THREE WEEKS PASSED AND WE ARE ALMOST TEACHERS( JULY 17- 21)

Practice teaching is of paramount importance in the vocational training of student teachers. It is this immersion into the real world of school that prepares the student in making the transition from trainee to professional. This week was almost given to teach students poetry. ICT enabled classes were prepared. Students were made to attend classes in the smart class. Its really interesting to teach poetry rather than prose.

Experience as mini teachers (FIRST WEEK JULY 4- 7)

Great teachers are masters of their subject matter. They exhibit expertise in the subjects they arecteaching and spend time continuing to gain new knowledge in their field. They present material in an enthusiastic manner and instill a hunger in their students to learn more on their own.

We, half a dozen of teacher trainees chose St. Mary's HSS, Kizhakketheruvu for our teaching practice. We were asked to take classes for 8th and 9th standards. I was assigned to take classes for 9th standard students.
The first day as teachers were really exciting. The excitement of being teachers...... Its something great. I spoke to children, enjoyed the day. The rest of the days were too awesome.
